Important Information

PE

Reception take part in a PE lesson every Tuesday morning. 

Please ensure you bring your child's PE kit into school on Tuesdays or alternatively, the PE kits can remain in school and will be sent half before half terms to be washed. 

Your child's 'house' colour will determine the colour of their PE top and the school will provide this initial T-Shirt for your child in September.

Reading

Adults read with the children throughout the week. Please ensure your child's book bag and reading folder are in school every day.

Please read with your child for 5-10mins daily at home and record this in their reading record. Every child is different - some may read the whole book whereas for other children just a page or two within that time is sufficient. 

Reading books are library books are changed every Friday. 

Spare Clothes

Accidents happen, please ensure your child has a change of underwear, trousers and socks/tights in their book bag at all times. This enables school staff to get your child clean and comfortable again as quickly as possible.

Naming Items

Please ensure all items of clothing and belongings are clearly named (including shoes and water bottles). This enables school staff to quickly return any misplaced items of uniform.
