Maths

We are spending a lot of time in maths looking at numbers. We look for patterns of number and try to recognise number patterns in the world around us. I wonder how many patterns you can find? How many eggs are in a box? How many toilet rolls in a packet?

We have played lots of maths games that allow us to investigate number. When we know numbers we become fluent at using them in a variety of ways and confidently manipulating them.

We used dice to quickly recognise regular dot patterns.
